I considered doing this at the track - it would have been interesting to see how consistent my distances were. But it would have been blazing hot, making the shady Arboretum was way more appealing. I even got to run throug some irrigation sprinklers! (Seriously, though, why would UCD have sprinklers going at noon? It's 86 degrees out... all that water is just going to evaporate.)
