100 Burpees

Scott and I did 100 burpees (poolside burpees even!). He finished in 7 minutes, which made me feel bad about finishing in 13 minutes. But at least I finished 2 minutes faster than last week. Was having a hard time breathing, though, just like yesterday. Ugh.

Any suggestions on other workouts we can do while on vacation? We don't have access to weights or a pull-up bar. We can do combinations of: running, squats, push-ups, sit-ups and burpees. And we have a pool - too small to do laps, but maybe there's something we could do.

Just think of all the exercises you can do and then throw then into the hopper.

X rounds of Y and Z for time
Max rounds of Y and Z in 20 minutes
X reps of Y and Z, rest 2 minutes. A rounds.
100 reps of X.

Just vary the length of the workout and the kinds of exercises.

You can also pick this time to work on your weaknesses. If your pushups suck, make sure there are pushups or handstands in every workout.

i always found a place to do pull ups when i traveled. just keep your eyes peeled when going from place to place.

if you have a jump rope, you can always throw in double unders with other bodyweight exercises.

andrew and i did 400m lunges the other day. it was a killer workout. it's approximately 400-450 steps.
