Deck of Cards

I made kings = 13 reps, queens = 12, jacks = 11, aces = 10, and everything else at face value. That means I did 100 reps each of pull-ups (jumping, of course), push-ups, sit-ups and squats. And I did two 8-minute runs (about a mile), when the two jokers came up.

Total time: 44 minutes. It felt good!

Arboretum run

Run with 8 minute-long "sprint" intervals. Total time: 37:15 minutes (not including the 2 merciful breaks at the traffic light). The sprints weren't really all that fast, but the flip side was that my base pace wasn't as slow as usual (I think).

Cindy

20 minutes of:
5 pull-ups (jumping)
10 push-ups
15 squats

I finished just under 14 rounds - I didn't have time for the final set of squats. Not bad. As usual, push-ups are the part that really slow me down. Grr.

Last time I ran a total of 3,000 meters. This time, it was just 2,400, but it was hard. How did I crank out all those 200s last time?

Night Train Practice

Definitely suffering from DOMS, as a result of yesterday's tabata workout. Running was hard.

Usual warm-up, except with a bunch of throwing beforehand.
Game to 5, double score.
Game to 5, single score.
Cool-down jog, push-ups, planks.

This was Scott's and my last practice for a while. We're leaving for Minnesota next week, and we'll be there through Sectionals. I'm psyched to be going home, but I'm really disappointed that I won't get to play Sectionals with the team.
